SAP Apply CLC procedure

One of the main reasons CLC's have been introduced is to reduce the amount of testing required for multinational payrolls. CLC's .are subcomponenets of HR Support Packs. The process is as follows:

There are 13 support packs releated for HR. 1 for each month and 1 extra in December. The June and December HR Support Packs are also known as HR Sync Points. Between June and December CLC's are released. For you to apply any of the CLC's and avoid applying support packs you must be at the sync point before the CLC's. The June and December HR Sync points require you to apply all the support packs between the last support pack you have applied and the sync point inclusive. If you apply HR Support packs there is no need to apply the CLC's for the same period as they are overwritten by the Support packs.

So answering your question:
If you wish to apply CLC'c then HRSP 35, 36 and 37 and then CLC 39, 41 and 42.

Yes then you can apply the full support package stack at the next Synchronization Package and this will reset your CLC Patch level. You will notice that the CLC path level will be at the same level as the last HR support package in the Stack

As far as applying CLC's is concerned for the rest of the life, SAP offer a clear choice you can continue applying HR Support packs only if you require.

The question you may like to ponder over is if you company/organization is only Australia based, do you need to consider applying CLC's? Would it not be worth to just stick to HR Support Packs? I highly recommed that you listen to the AUDIO EBOOK Supplied by SAP at
